Obvioisly they wouldnt sell it to you using abgen power of attorney you need a whole otherkkind of POA I know because my hisband is military and was deployed. While he was gone I was able to buy a car if I so chose so this lady clearly has no clue what she is doing.

This review was very hard to read. It reads as though an eight year old wrote it. Not a very useful review.

My only comment is that you can't say never go to Zale because of a bad experience you had at 1 location, but I know every location won't be like that. I am sorry for your terrible experience and I would be extremely mad too, but I recently started shopping at a Zales location in Wisconsin and had the exact opposite experience then you did.

As soon as I walked in, a lady came and asked if I needed help before I could even look at any of the rings. I told her I was looking for an engagement ring for my gf, and she helped me every single step of the way. I didnt expect this, but I was there for about an hour and she was 100% attentive to me...

she did not leave me to help any other customers until I had left. So, I just dont think you should blast Zales as a company because of your one locational experience.

This lady has every right to vent if she had a bad experience. Just because she has misspelled words does not mean she is not from America. What does it matter even if she is not, apparently she must be an american.

To the none sympathetic loser who is only concerned about the "military bandwagon riders," you should care she even had enough respect and care to mention the likes of you. You are the exact type of ignorance that gives the military a bad name. Half of the country don't give a ***! Regardless of how any one else feels the store is wrong in how they handled the situation.

If in fact this is what happened. Customers are the ones who make sure the stores continue to run. No customers no income no revenue no business, no store, Capiche'.... I apologize about your expierence.

I personaly would never shop in that store and any of their other stores.

Right is right and wrong is wrong. I am pretty sure prejudice had a lot to do with it.Hopefully you found a store that was pleasing to your needs that was not affiliated with this one.

Wow! Stpp defending that company and xoxo I too was in the Marine Corp.

and I ask you to jump off the band wagon of using the military thing to be felt sorry for. sounds like your not even from America.

Xoxoxo, so sorry for the misunderstanding at Zales but I would be nervous when dealing with such a large sale too. They HAVE to make sure that the paperwork is correct.

If you were using credit under your husbands name, then they could not ring the sale.

It is likly that you just misunderstood them seeing as you are not accustumed to English. Maybe an interpretor could have made the transaction smoother.

Sorry about your experience.

Most consultants would not shy away from a $7799 sale.

I could may be see their comprehension with the whole Power of Attorney thing, because they do work in a business where fraud happens all the time. When selling something that significant, they have to keep certain security measures in place, such as verifying ID's, names, and any other legal paperwork.

Zales does offer a variety of payment plans, such as layaway or opening up a credit card. With a layaway, you cannot have the ring until it is paid for in full. If you finance it through a Zales credit card, you can take the ring home with you but have to make payments to the credit card via mail, in store, or online. If they thought you were young, you do need to be 18 to open up a credit card.
